"My boy is out of Koda and Nalla. He has the most incredible temperament, he is extremely willing and has beautiful food, play and prey drives. Brianna was so kind and easy to get along with, and truly made me feel like a welcome member of the family. Brianna is always happy to receive news of how my boy is doing with me, and she truly loves these dogs. I couldn't ask for more. My boy has a very level head, robust health, great conformation and brilliant beauty if I do say so myself! I highly recommend giving her a call, you will be glad you did!" -Nicole (Koda x Nalla pup)
"For anyone who may been interested I HIGHLY recommend Brianna’s puppies. We have had Max for a week now and he is clearly the smartest and most stable German Shepherd we have ever had." - Marguerite (Koda x Zoja pup)
"Wonderful experience! Wonderful people! We love our GS pup and he is everything we had asked for. Thanks Granite Mountain for producing such a strong and confident pup!!" -Kelly (Koda x Nalla pup)
"Teddy has been a blessing and he is a dream come true pup. I would absolutely recommend Granite Mountain GSD's. I would suggest that you tell Brianna what personality traits you are looking for in your puppy because she is excellent at determining the pups personality traits" -Melissa (Koda x Zoja pup)
"I had been searching for a long, long time for a very specific pup. As a working dog trainer I knew precisely what I wanted and was struggling to find a puppy in Washington with the right characteristics without costing an arm and a leg. While they are new to breeding working Shepherds they are certainly on the right track. Both parents are very social, with wonderful temperaments. Brianna was extremely kind and willing to fit my needs as I searched for the right pup. They’ve gone above and beyond in socializing and raising their pups. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for “Blossom.”" - Karin (Koda x Nalla pup)
"Day one with Zeus, formerly Baxter, and we are in love! Brianna and Joe are doing a great job raising these puppies. Nalla and Koda are great dogs and we can already tell what a smart puppy we have from them. Well worth the investment!" -David (Koda x Nalla pup)
"Our puppy is in perfect health, with the sweetest temperament. She's proven to be a fast learner, and is growing rapidly. We were given incredible detail in receiving her, and are confident she'll live a long, healthy, and happy life." - Kate (Koda x Nalla pup)
"Smart, super affectionate, and obedient. THANK YOU for such an awesome, healthy, well adjusted pup!" -Sharan (Koda x Zoja pup)
"I highly recommend GMGSDs.
I've had high to medium-high drive rescues since I was fresh out of college. I am older now and this will probably be my last GSD. I wanted to have the experience of raising a puppy who was from working, sound mind, parents.
I cannot be happier. My puppy, Poppy, who is almost 4 months old, is so evenly tempered, she is resilient, smart, fun, playful, and brave.
A few examples of her resilience is a loud firework went off when she was playing in the dark at our neighborhood park, it was one of those loud bomb type. She stopped for a second looked at me and our other dog and within 2 seconds she recovered and proceeded to get her ball.
Another example is she jumped up on a camping chair that then flipped her over and folded in, I righted the chair without saying anything and she got back up on it without hesitation. I've had GSDs that something similar had happened to them and they never went near the chair or other object again.
Poppy is smart. She remembers every puppy she had played with at puppy school and wags her tail as soon as she sees them. One day three of her friends were all at school so I wanted to see if she remembered their names. I said, where is Ellie? And she looked right at Ellie. I next said where is Loki and she looked right at Loki.
She is excelling at scent work that I set up for her. She can tell me what box a treat is hidden in out of 6 boxes set up in a row. She also has focus to stay on task for such a young age.
She is fun, and independent she plays and entertains herself with toys for long periods of time. She takes redirection well, and one firm "No!", she leave's something she isn't supposed to chew alone and unlike my other GSD doesn't retest you, and try to chew it in the future.
She is social and playful with her friends at school. She is usually match up with neutral to confident puppies and does well, but as soon as play is over she can refocus on me.
She learned sit, shake, down, touch, "find it" "search" "place" all within the first few weeks and now we work on duration. What is most remarkable about Poppy, is her energy level for play and games like fetch (she had been bringing a ball back since she hit 16 weeks) but as soon as you say let's come inside, she is ready to come sit beside you and snuggle on the sofa. I've never had a GSD with such a good off-switch that also had the drive to play hard for 30 minutes. (She is under 4 months so we limit ball play at this age).
Overall I wouldn't hesitate to get another puppy from Granite Mountain GSD. Poppy is resilient and not phased by noises, the dark, or new things, she has a good work/play ethic, is a great combination of biddable and independence. Had a superb off-switch. And she is super-people social, she adores all the people she meets."
