Rex is ready for his forever home
Rex is a 4-year-old, social family dog looking for his forever home. Rex has been raised around kids and loves kids of all ages. He is social with all people and is really just a giant teddy bear! Rex is playful with female dogs and males he knows but a bit dominant with unfamiliar male dogs. Rex has not been socialized with cats and will bark at and chase cats. However, he just wants to play and has not hurt them when he catches them. He has primarily been an outside dog but he has a good off switch and does well when he is brought indoors. He loves games, the water, truck rides, boat rides and just hanging out with his people. He is crate and kennel-trained. Rex respects 6 foot fences but will jump shorter fences. He knows his basic commands, is leash trained and has a decent recall. He has not had much work on recall, leash training or crate training since he was a pup and will likely need a refresher in this. However, he is eager to please and a quick learner so this should not take long! He is in tact with no known health issues. He had his puppy shots but is in the process of having his adult vaccines updated. Please contact us for further information or to set up a time to meet Rex.
Zara is looking for her forever home
Zara is a beautiful, incredibly sweet, loving, smart dog. She is eager to please and seems to have an uncanny ability to understand her people. She has never chewed anything or been destructive in any way. Zara is very patient and good with children. She loves to chase balls and play tug-of-war with her toys, but calms down quickly after play and knows when it's time to relax. Zara has had a lot of professional training. She is crate trained and uses it as her bed with no complaints.
Her ideal environment would be a home without other pets that has space for her to run and play, and people with the time to play brain games with her. We live in an urban area with a fairly small yard so most of her exercise needs to be done through daily walks. Zara is reactive to other dogs which makes it difficult when we're out in the neighborhood. She has been this way since she was a pup. We are also on a hill where Zara constantly sees other dogs from the window, which is problematic for her. That is the only issue but one we haven't been able to overcome despite all the training she's been through (positive only). We love her so much but haven’t been able to give her the exercise she needs. She would be an amazing pet in for the right home.
Zara is located in the Seattle area and is being re-homed by her family. Please contact Shannon at (202) 680-0629 or [email protected] further information.

We occasionally have pups/dogs returned to us. This can happen when the dog just isn't a good fit for the family or when the family has a change of circumstances. We will always take our dogs back and work to re-home them. If you are looking for an older dog /pup or are interested in adopting a return, get in touch with us to be added to our call list.
